ba', Sustainable Packaging for Children Snacks

ba’ is a sustainable packaging solution for 5-7-year-old children, mainly focusing on children-caregiver interaction and children’s awareness of their own culture. Our project was awarded second place in Tasarla Çukurova Innovation Contest. Thanks to everyone that helped to organize this event.

It includes a legend peculiar to the country it is sold and the hero of that legend as a figure attached to the lid. The materials of the product are glass for its body, whereas the lid and the figure are produced by combining walnut shells and resin, which ensures sustainability and circularity.

We used Donkey-Eared Midas (Phrygian) from Legend of Midas, and Helen and Trojan Horse (Hellenistic) from Legend of Troy.

Phrygian and Hellenistic patterns are used to reference the figure inside the package.
